Playplax

This was the set of Playplax i (Lizzy) had as a child. It was the beginning of my obsession with all things plastic, see-through and colourful. Well, perspex i suppose. Not to over egg the cake, but this genuinely was one of my favourite toys.

    I played with these often when I was a young girl. I'm hoping to find a set at sale somewhere, sometime ... I enjoyed them and the colours created as they overlapped.

    I too have been looking for these! I think they should be brought back. My students would love it and I would play with them too. Ever the child at heart.

    been waiting for them to reappear for years - I don't think kids today would treasure them as I did but some adults would for sure. - I felt that each one was like a jewel and made sure to put them back in their boxes carefully (after each sculpture had been on display for a day or two) call me a nerd. Most kids I've met would lose interest after they realized that they make shitty ninja throwing stars.
